Kelsea Ballerini Joins Forces With Kelly Clarkson as ‘The Voice’ Advisor
Kelsea Ballerini is currently touring with Kelly Clarkson, so it only makes sense that they'd hang out on The Voice, too.
On Thursday (Feb. 7), the pair confirmed on Extra that Ballerini will come on as an advisor on Clarkson’s team.
"It's different, though, doing it with [Kelly] because I feel like I’m learning from what she’s saying, so I feel like I'm being way more quiet, because I'm listening to everything she’s saying," says Ballerini, who previously appeared on The Voice as a coach for the Comeback Stage.
"Cut to — she's being nice. It is just because I talk too damn much," Clarkson adds, laughing. "We are both just nice. I'm sure we both have b--ches in us!"

Clarkson seems to be feeling extra confident right now, as she won The Voice last season thanks to her own country contestant Chevel Shepherd. "I didn’t even rub it in," she swears. Blake Shelton's girlfriend Gwen Stefani did, however. "She was like, ‘Oh my God, she beat you with a country artist.'"
The news about Clarkson and Ballerini comes on the same day that Brooks & Dunn revealed that they too will be joining The Voice as Battles Advisors for Blake Shelton and his team.
NBC's The Voice returns to the airwaves for Season 16 on Feb. 25, and this season will include not only Shelton and Clarkson, but also fellow coaches Adam Levine and John Legend. Legend has brought on Khalid as his advisor, and Levine will be working alongside Charlie Puth.
