According to Patch Elmhurst...

Two drivers who crashed in Elmhurst on the Fourth of July had a couple of things in common – they were drunk and driving uninsured cars, police said. The collision occurred about 12:30 a.m. at North Avenue and Illinois Street, police said. The men were taken to the police station and later released.
