Ways You Can Get Tickets In Illinois For Your License Plate
- Your vehicle must have two license plates (front and back).
- If you sell your vehicle you must remove your license plates, they don't go to the buyer.
- No license plate covers are allowed in Illinois.
- When you get a new vehicle a Temporary Registration Permit is required and must be placed in the rear license plate position.
- A renewal sticker should be placed on the upper right side of the rear license plate.
