My Vision shared an interesting compilation recently that documented the most common dreams in each state. If it's accurate, it would appear that many in Missouri have fears involving dentists and their teeth.

Both Missouri and Illinois people have dreams about teeth and/or losing them.

But wait, there's more...

Amerisleep shared what the most common recurring dreams are and the results are interesting (and familiar to me, too). They include these:

  • Falling
  • Being chased
  • Going back to school
  • Being unprepared for something important
  • Flying

I had a recurring dream for years where I would be on my grandma's old farm which she used to have near West Ely, Missouri. There was a stream at the bottom of her hill (which I wasn't supposed to play by). I would find myself by that stream and the odd thing about it was I was aware that I was dreaming and could stop the dream by pulling down on a certain limb of a tree over that stream. It worked every single time. How strange, but I swear it's true.

I have recurring dreams about failing an important event, but that also happens in real life, too so...
