Sometimes you just need to get it done. That was apparently what was happening in Illinois recently when a driver captured video of a man dragging a big ole tree down the road behind his pickup truck.

According to the facts shared in the video description, this happened in Milledgeville, Illinois some time ago even though the video is just now being shared. Here's the backstory shared by the driver:

There was a big storm in our small town of about 1,000 people. My girlfriend, Nikki, and I were checking out the damage and that’s when we came across my friend, Ty. The wind had snapped a tree is his yard at the base. I asked if he needed help and he said I think I am going to drag it to the burn pile. I said let’s get it hooked up, and I’ll follow you!

The funny thing is this is not the strangest thing you'll see while driving in an Illinois small town by a long shot.

If you've never been to Milledgeville, it's in the north-central part of Illinois. Last time the census was taken, there were barely 1,000 people living there. It's a simple place with a matter-of-fact common sense that leads to this type of situation. Need a tree moved? Hook it up to the pickup and get it done. Doesn't take rocket science to figure that out.

That's one of the things I love about our part of America. Sometimes you just need to pick the simplest solution and do it. No other questions needed.
