Yelp claims Illinois is home to a “Summer Drink Experience”
If you are craving something special to drink this summer then you need to check out this unique "flight" of drinks in Illinois named one of the 10 best by the experts at Yelp.
It is called a "Mojito Flight" think beer flight only instead of different beers its different mojitos, and it can be found here in the Land of Lincoln. The Mojito Flight from Havana Grill in Chicago was named to Yelp's 10 Drink Flights to Experience this Summer. Some of the other drink flights to experience this summer on the list are the Frose Flight in South Carolina, the Whiskey Flight at Stranahan's Colorado Whiskey in Denver, and a Bloody Mary Flight at a place in Minnesota.
So what comes in the Mojito Flight from Havana Grill in Chicago? On their site they say...
"Our House Specialty! Fresh mint, limes, sugar, and various flavored rum. Shaken and poured over ice with a splash of soda. Try 3 of our Signature Mojitos."
The mojito flight will cost you $28 and the flavors to choose from include Original, Berry, Guava, Mango, Coconut, and Peach. What is really cool about Havana Grill is that their menu has a bunch of different flight options! I lived in Chicago for years but never heard of this place and now I am going to plan a trip back just to check it out! The drinks seem worth the trip alone but the food looks terrific too, and the Havana Grill is located right in the heart of the downtown in River North an easy walk from the train station.
