According to Yelp's list of The Must-Slup Soup Spots in Every State, a Dill Pickle Soup from The Fountain on Locust in St. Louis is the top soup in all of Missouri. The soup is actually called the Signature Polish Dill Pickle Soup and on Yelp, they say this about the restaurant...

"...exceptional soups and fine ice creams all in an award winning atmosphere - a one-of-a-kind, handpainted Art Deco interior! Vegetarian, Gluten-free, Vegan, allergy-aware and lactose intolerant options available. Named one of the top 10 restaurants in the state! Voted #1 ice cream parlor in the state...Try the Polish Dill Pickle soup. Or the World's Smallest Hot Fudge Sundae."

So what is in the soup?

According to the menu on The Fountain on Locust's website, the soup is from a secret family recipe, and the soup mainly consists of potatoes and has crushed dill pickles in it.

The menu is loaded with tons of other delicious-sounding food options including the Royal Grille (an award-winning grilled cheese), the Pesto Chicken, Grandma's Penne and Meatballs, and the desserts include items like the Smores Sundae, the Black Cadillac, and the Nutty Americano, to see the full menu for yourself, click here!

I can't believe this is the first I have heard about The Fountain on Locust! This place looks fantastic! I can't wait to take my wife and step-kids down to this place, the menu, the atmosphere, and the location all look fantastic, I just don't think I'll try the pickle soup...
