Slides are normally an outdoor thing and some of the more fun ones include water, too. There's a new park in Illinois that is neither of those things, but it is a first ever entertainment option that's now open.

WAND reported that Slide City Action Park just became the first indoor slide park ever to open in Illinois in North Aurora. The official Facebook page for this new Illinois places describes itself as a "fun-filled, family action park featuring HUGE indoor slides, junior play areas, swing/trapeze, air courts & more".

The exact address is 1830 Towne Center Dr in North Aurora, Illinois. According to the Google Street View, it appears this used to be a Best Buy store.

The story says that this new Illinois location is just the beginning for the brand as there are plans for up to 500 more all across the United States. It's a unique idea that has slides big enough for adults and kids. Since this is an activity that can be done year-round unlike a traditional waterpark, you'd think this place would have an opportunity to have success in Illinois. It will be interesting if they begin opening locations downstate and not just in the Chicagoland area.
