It’s the Teddy Bear Toss with the IceHogs on Saturday

If you're up for a fun Saturday night watching hockey and giving to a good cause then check out the Rockford IceHogs at the BMO for their annual Teddy Bear Toss!

Once a year the Rockford IceHogs have the Teddy Bear Toss to help needy kids in the stateline area as well as those in area hospitals over the holidays a brighter day by bringing them teddy bears that are tossed out on to the ice.

"All fans in attendance are encouraged to bring a new or gently used stuffed animal to throw onto the ice after the IceHogs first goal of the game."

This is a really fun event that I had the privileged of working with the IceHogs about 4 years ago when I did promotions for a local radio network here in Rockford. It was so fun walking out on the ice collecting all those bears and other stuffed animals.
