The Chicago Bears season ended last year on a missed field goal.

The "Double Doink" was heard nationwide after Cody Parkey ended the Bears season and that painful miss has haunted the team and their fans.

With Parkey gone and the kicking situation still up in the air (untested free agent kicker Eddie Pineiro is the only kicker in camp), there might be a solution.

You've never seen this person on a football field (at least during a game) but a different type of field altogether, like a pitch.

Lloyd, 37, who has played on the national team since 2005, was showing off her massive leg last week by drilling a 55-yard field goal at Baltimore Ravens training camp.

I wasn't the only one who was wowed by Lloyd's booming shot either.

Lloyd has received interest from NFL teams since making that kick. Her trainer James Galanis even told FOX Sports’ Martin Rogers on Monday that one team even offered Lloyd the opportunity to kick in a preseason game this week.

Could that team be the Chicago Bears? That would be amazing. Lloyd lining up for field goals in a Bears uni would be something else, and just a guess, would be an upgrade over any kicker the Monsters of the Midway have rolled out in the past few years.

In case you're wondering, the "Double Doink" was a missed 43-yard field goal, and Lloyd's nailing them from 55. Sign her up today.

What do the Chicago Bears have to lose?
