Illinois Teacher Has Committed Over 20 Years to Her Students
Our new Teacher of The Week is a rockstar loved by students and parents.
These past two school years have really been the ultimate test for teachers, students, and parents. However, it's also shown just how special teachers are.
Our brand new Teacher of The Week is one of those special humans. Congratulations to Julie Foltmer from Maria Montessori in Rockford.
Julie was nominated by Sara Stickels and her nomination letter reads -
Mrs. Foltmer is genuinely committed to inducing a creative learning environment. Mrs. Foltmer relates herself with all her students on a personal level both regarding education and the life of a child, as her son is the same age as she currently teaches. Throughout the last three years my son has been in her class she has done a miraculous job of being flexible with the many changes inside and outside of the classroom and constantly allows all of her students to feel included and necessary to the classroom. She goes above and beyond over and over and could never be repaid enough for how appreciated she is by her students and parents alike.
How incredible is that letter? You can truly tell how much of an impact she's made on her students and their families.

We got to surprise Mrs. Foltmer with a beautiful floral arrangement from Broadway Florist and a delicious cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes.
If you have a teacher you'd like to nominate to be 97ZOK's Teacher of The Week you can tell us all about them in a nomination letter right here.
