If you think you're supporting local business by ordering delivery by using GrubHub in Rockford or anywhere for that matter, you might have to think again.

Apparently, restaurant owners are making very little off the agreement based on a shocking photo shared by Chicago food truck owner, Giuseppe Badalamenti.

Badalamenti owns a food truck called Chicago Pizza Boss, where according to their Yelp profile, is parked somewhere in Chicago's South Loop.

On Facebook, Badalamenti posted a statement for delivery services he received in March from GrubHub.

Badalamenti:

Stop believing you are supporting your community by ordering from a 3rd party delivery company

Out of almost $1,100 of orders.
Your Restaurant you are trying to support receives not even $400.
It is almost enough to pay for the food.

Nearly two-thirds of what Chicago Pizza Boss would take in is going to GrubHub, and that sounds ridiculous.

I had no idea these delivery companies took so much revenue from restaurants.

Have you been ordering to-go food from GrubHub or have you been picking it up yourself?
