IL Couple Arrested for Locking 10-Year-Old In A Basement For A Year

I'm not a perfect parent. I'm not even close to being a perfect person, but reading or hearing about parents doing horrifying things to children REALLY makes me mad.

I came across a story today on mystateline.com with a headline that read, "Illinois Couple Kept 10-Year-Old Locked In Basement, Believed She Was A Demon".

Excuse me, what?!?!?

These people think their kid is the demon and it's better to lock her in a basement than get everyone in the family some professional help?!?

I. Just. Can't.
