The holiday's are here and while you're going down your check list of shopping, eating, and finding ways to stay warm, don't forget to give back this season. There's so many great local opportunities for the Stateline to come together and make sure our community is looked after.

A great way to donate is by participating in the Stateline's Holiday Diaper Drive put together by Illinois State Rep. Joe Sosnowski and Empower Boone. The two-week holiday diaper drive began on Monday Nov. 16 and will go through Tuesday Dec. 1. So if you're out an about shopping, pick up some supplies to donate.

Here's what they are taking for donations according to the flyer from Joe Sosnowski's website -

It's always important to look out for the little humans of the world. According to WREX, Joe Sosnowski said -

The need has increased, no doubt about it. And there's other social services out there, but again, this is one area in our community that can help, especially with young children. It can be a very expensive part of their weekly budget. So we thought this was a good thing to rally behind and give a helping hand.

So donate some diapers and make a difference this holiday season.
