How much are American's spending on Dad for Father's Day? Find out here.
If you are buying a gift from dad for Father's Day Sunday, June 21, 2015, you are not alone. Spending for dad is expected to reach $12.7 billion for golf lessons, home improvement tools, coffee mugs and more.
According to NRF’s 2015 Father’s Day Spending Survey conducted by Prosper Insights & Analytics, the average person will spend $115.57 on gifts, nearly even with last year’s $113.80. The survey found 75.4 percent of Americans said they plan to celebrate Father’s Day.
No matter what you spend, gifts can range from giving dad a few hours to nap, to a simple hug. The point of the day is to simply let your dad know you love him.
For those who have lost their dad, taking a moment to simply think about how special your dad was will connect you with him again and more than likely, make him proud of you all over again.
