The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, which cruises through Canada and the US to spread holiday cheer for a good cause, announced their schedule.

Every other year, the Holiday Train makes a stop in nearby Byron, Illinois. This is not one of those years, but if you're in the Rockford area you can still check out the train in all its Christmas-y glory.

The train will stop in Bensenville and Gurnee in Illinois on December 2 in the afternoon along with pullovers in Portage and Wisconsin Dells on December 4.

If you're looking to catch the train closest to Rockford, a trip to Wisconsin, either Watertown or Columbus. is probably your best bet.

Performing at each stop along the way is Meghan Patrick, Tanika Charles, and Kelly Prescott.

If you plan on making the trip be sure to bring a canned good or some cash to make a donation.

According to cpr.ca "The Holiday Train has now raised more than C$15.8 million and collected 4.5 million pounds of food since its inaugural journey back in 1999."
