Henry Pratt’s Parent Company Steps Up for Aurora Shooting Victims
On Friday, February 15, 2019 horror and tragedy struck way too close to home once again.
Five people were shot at the Henry Pratt company in Aurora, Illinois, and I literally cried when I read that one of the victims, Trevor Wehner, was a NIU student who had just started his first day as an intern for the company.
When bad things happen to our neighbors, the urge to help always rises up.
The City of Aurora , along with the Aurora Police and Fire Department, have created a GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burdens that the families of Russell Beyer, Vicente Juarez, Clayton Parks, Josh Pinkard and Trevor Wehner will be forced to endure in the following months. It has already surpassed its $50,000 goal, but the more money raised for these families, the better, so please consider donating if you are able.
Yesterday the City of Aurora announced that Henry Pratt's parent company, Mueller Company, has stepped up to support the victims' grieving families as well, and will be paying for all five victims' funeral arrangements.
To the entire city of Aurora, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and that you are doing amazing things to honor these victims.
To the families of Russell Beyer, Vicente Juarez, Clayton Parks, Josh Pinkard and Trevor Wehner, our hearts are grieving along side you. We are so very sorry for your loss.
