Help ‘Fill the Truck for the Kittens and the Pups’ This Saturday

XPO Logistics is hosting a "Fill the Truck for the Kittens and the Pups" donation drive for our local animal shelters this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Home Depot on Argus Drive in Rockford, and they need our help to fill the big ole truck!

Several Rockford area shelters will benefit from this donation drive, and have offered a "wish list" of items needed. Ideas include:

• Pet food - wet and dry
• Pet beds
• Bleach
• Hand sanitizer
• Blankets
• Paper towels
• Toys
• Food and Water Bowls
• Cat litter
• Treats
• Collars and leashes
• Brushes
• Nail trimmers
• Bandanas
• Laundry detergent

Raffles and prizes will also be given away during the event. For a $5 raffle ticket you could win some really cool stuff from the Chicago Blackhawks, Rockford Icehogs, Home Depot, Chestnut Mountain Resort, Rockford Brewing Company, Granite City, Texas Roadhouse, Main Street Meat Company and many more!

We can't forget our furry best friends this holiday season, so if you can't provide a home for a shelter dog or cat, at least we can make their shelter stay feel a little more like home. Together, we can make a big difference.
