What's Up, Doc? is a weekly health segment on WROK sponsored by MercyHealth. Each week they highlight a different doctor/healthcare professional to come on our show and talk to us about their specialty. It has turned into one of our favorite segments. All of our doctors have exhibited a "human" side that people don't always get to see with their physicians. We encourage you to check out some of our past episodes here. We've done about 30 of these segments highlighting everything from Lyme disease to hernia repair to finding a health care plan and everything else in between. We've learned a lot and hope you can too.

This week's guest was Tim Bailey from Mercyhealth Top Performers program. From their website:

Mercyhealth Top Performers is the area's most advanced and effective Athletic Perfomance Center located in the Rockford Park District's Mercyhealth Sportscore Two. Bailey and his team offer cutting edge programs for amateur, professional, collegiate, high school and youth athletes in a 4,200 square foot facility.

This was the second time Tim has been on the What's Up, Doc segment. Last time he told us about some of the high profile talents he has worked with including Fred VanVleet, Dean Lowry, James Robinson, and Jake Smolinski.

Top Performers is all-encompassing and takes clients from any sport at any age. The program uses the latest technology to analyze and improve athletic motions to improve performance, increase strength, and decrease injuries.

You can tell just by listening to Tim that he's passionate and knowledgeable about his craft and could help anyone that's willing to work.

We thank Tim for his time and look forward to talking to him again.

A new episode of What's Up, Doc? airs every Thursday morning at 8:35 on 1440 WROK.
