Hard Work and Dedication Pays Off For This Week’s Hometown Hero

This week's hometown hero is proof that hard work, dedication, and selflessness do not go unnoticed. Our Q98.5 Hometown Hero is more than just a firefighter. He's also a role model.

The nomination comes from Autumn, who nominated Jose Martinez of the North Park Fire Department.

He’s an amazing father to my beautiful niece, and an amazing firemen who goes above and beyond for his family and civilians. He was awarded fireman of the year and it getting a position as a Lieutenant. He works hard to make sure his family has everything they need. Getting hometown hero will put a big smile on his face and make him think about what a good job he’s done for the years he’s been a firemen!
