The ‘Worst Movie Ever Made’ in Wisconsin Is Getting a Bold Reboot
The "worst movie ever made" in Wisconsin is getting a reboot, and many people can't understand why.
'The Giant Spider Invasion'
Have you ever heard of or seen a horror movie called 'The Giant Spider Invasion' that came out in 1975 and was filmed in Wisconsin? I never had until I stumbled upon this from Wisconsin Frights on Instagram earlier this year:

Reimagining 'The Giant Spider Invasion'
I'm not going to lie, hearing that an old movie about a town being overrun by mutant spiders is getting a reboot makes me very uneasy. While the spiders in the original film may look more cringe than scary, how terrifying will they be with a modern-technology-age makeover?
Thankfully, that's not what's happening with this 'Giant Spider Invasion' reboot.
According to an article from Madison Magazine this reboot will be:
a reimagined version of it, with new material, shot to look like it’s 1975, very periodaccurate. It will be used to fill in the loopholes he had in the story.
From what I understand, the whole movie will be re-shot with a new cast (some original cast members may return for cameos) but will try to stay true to its original mid-70s vibe.
Does that mean realistic looking, massive spiders will be a part of the new 'Giant Spider Invasion'? I sure as heck hope not!
