Freeport Police Bust Man For Taking Neighbor’s New Garbage Can

Police in Freeport arrested a man for taking his neighbor's brand new garbage can.

I lost a garbage can once. I'm not sure if someone stole it and maybe the thing just blew away. I drove up and down my block but never found it. I was angry because I had to go buy a new one.

Luckily, this person in Freeport figured out what happened to theirs.

According to mystateline.com,

"A man was charged with felony theft for allegedly stealing his neighbor’s new garbage can. Police met with the victim who told them someone had stolen her garbage can during the night. A witness provided video footage of the suspect. The officers located the can in front of the suspect's house and arrested him on the spot."

That's not very neighborly.
