This forecast is not for for rain for snow, but it's headed our way on Friday.

Major forest fires are wreaking havoc in the Canadian Provence of Alberta. The smoke from those fires is heading our way.

The National Weather Service in Chicago is reporting that smoke from these major wildfires is being pushed up in the atmosphere and is traveling southeast to Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin and will drift into our area on Friday.

If you look up in the air you may notice a milky white sky and may even detect a scent of something burning. You may even notice a tinting of the sun and moon on Friday.

The Alberta forest fires have been burning for days now and have caused thousands to flee their homes.
