‘First Fridays’ Return to Downtown Rockford Tomorrow

Still boo-hooing on Friday nights because the Rockford City Market is over for the season? Stop! You now have another reason to spend your Friday nights in downtown Rockford, and the fun begins tomorrow night.

"First Fridays" will kick off another season at 5 p.m. tomorrow night at several downtown businesses, and the fun will continue on the first Friday of every month.

"First Fridays" is a family-friendly event where downtown art galleries, shops, and restaurants stay open late offering specials and fun events for all to enjoy.

Here's just a few of the things you can enjoy tomorrow night in downtown Rockford:

• One Day Mega Sale at Salvaged By Sonya including 100 items available for 50% off.
• Live music and refreshments at JustGoods Fair Trade Marketplace starting at 7 p.m.
• $40 skateboard decks from 2 to 8 p.m. at Ground Floor Skateboards.
• Live music and/or Dj's at Mary's Place, District, Owly Oop Sports Pub, Irish Rose Saloon and more.
