Walking around Chicago in December really feels like you've been dropped right into a Hallmark Christmas movie. From the window displays, to the giant tree, the ice skating and the music in the streets, it's something special everyone should get to experience.

This year we're spending December online shopping and seeing holiday lights from our cars. I know I've always had the tradition to walk around downtown Chicago during the holidays. One of the most impressive parts of Christmas in Chicago is all of the holiday lights. Of course there's lights all long the streets, and a lot of homes put up lights, but one of the city's most impressive light displays is at Lincoln Park Zoo.

Last year I got the chance to take a helicopter ride over Chicago in December and seeing the zoo holiday lights from above was something I never thought I'd see in my life. Check out just how bright it was -

But my picture is NOTHING compared to this drone video I found on Facebook. Ted Widen shared a video that his son shot and edited and I think it's guaranteed to make your holiday heart happy.

Are you in your feels? It's just something about the city of Chicago during the holidays that like I said before, really feels like something straight out of a Hallmark movie.

If you've never had the opportunity to see the zoo lights in person, you definitely need to make sure you plan a trip to see them at least once. But like everything else in 2020, at least we can indulge virtually.

Happy Holidays!
