Rockford Woman Offers Free Freezer On Craigslist Gets Robbed

There's never a shortage of stories from Craigslist to share with your friends.You might even learn a lesson like this Rockford-area woman did.

This poor lady, all she wanted to do was offer someone a free working upright freezer. She posted an ad in Craigslist's free section and said, "It's sitting in front of the garage. Feel free to come get it any time. When it's gone, I will take the post down." She mentioned how it's dirty but working perfectly and just needs a little cleaning. Who wouldn't want it?

As you can guess - someone wanted the fridge. Unfortunately for this woman, someone took more than fridge. She never took down the post though. She left it up with this update.

Apparently the fridge-wanting son-of-a-gun took her dolly and a pull cart. I'd be mad, too. She wasn't done yet, she made sure to mention one thing the thief didn't notice.
