Dead Body Found In DeKalb Apartment

A dead body was discovered in a second story apartment in a high crime area of DeKalb on Tuesday afternoon.

The north side of DeKalb, known as the Annie Glidden North corridor of DeKalb has been a constant source of high crime and shootings over the past year, and now police are reporting the discovery of a body located in a second story apartment at 930 N Greenbrier Rd.

According to published reports, police arrived on the scene at 2:30 pm and subsequently called the DeKalb County coroner to investigate.

No further information about the incident has been released, however, DeKalb police say that the incident does not pose a threat to the public.
