David Lee Murphy Announced For Rivet’s Stadium Later This Month

How long have you been itching for a real country concert in Rockford? It's finally happening in a few weeks.

Rockford Rivets Baseball general manager Chad Bauer jumped on the air with us to share something really exciting. After a successful concert a few weeks back more live music is coming to Rivets Stadium.

The previous concert, which featured our favorite Rock family, The Nielsen Trust, went off without any problems. The socially distanced concert took place in the stadium on the field and in the stands. Squares were spraypainted throughout the field, some with picnic tables, some with concert-goer's own lawn chairs. Masks were required every except inside the squares. Beer was flowing, cheese curds were a-plenty, and live music could be heard throughout the park.

Make plans now for Saturday, October 24th. David Lee Murphy will be singing some of the most well-known songs he has written, including Jason Aldean's “Big Green Tractor” and “The Only Way I Know”, Kenny Chesney's “Living In Fast Forward” and “Pirate Flag”, Jake Owen's “Anywhere With You”, Thompson Square's “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not”, Kip Moore's “Last Shot”, and more, as well as his own originals. We're also super excited that our friends Little Miss Whiskey and Zac Mattews will be opening for the country superstar.
