Cycle On 2nd Is Back For Its Second Year

This might be the best way to see Rockford's riverfront. 
From 8-10 AM on Sunday, September 8, the southbound lanes of North 2nd Street will be closed to cars and open only to people on bikes. The route runs from the Auburn interchange to State Street.

Also present at the event will be vendors and food at the Trolley Station for everyone to enjoy.

The ride is free and you can join in anytime you want.

I've been downtown Chicago before when they shut down Lake Shore Drive for a similar event and it's an absolute blast. Hopefully, the Cycle on 2nd can grow to the same level.
