With the Chicago Cubs ending a regular season that saw the franchise complete a season of winning over 100 games for the first time since 1935, Theo Epstein's timing is perfect.

The Cubs have extended Epstein's contract as President of Operations for five more years. On Wednesday, the Cubs tweeted:
