Harry Caray, the best known voice of the Chicago Cubs passed away on Feb 18, 1998 and never got to see the Cubs win a World Series. The day after the Cubs finally did win World Series, Cubs fans paid a special tribute to Harry.

You'll recall that a frustrated Harry Caray, at the end of a losing season in 1991,once said:

"As sure as God made green apples, someday, the Cubs are going to be in the World Series..."

On Thursday, Cubs fans paid tribute to Harry Caray by leaving green apples and other memorabilia at his grave site.

Harry Caray is buried at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Holy Cow! Harry would love this!
