I don't know about you, but my yard is currently a hot mess that I can't even look at.

Mud, leaves, dog poo everywhere, and I don't even want to talk about the MASSIVE pile of branches and sticks that broke off our trees during the Polar Vortex.

My point is, I need this mess gone before I will even think about taking my kids outdoors to play, and thankfully that day is almost here.

The City of Rockford announced on Facebook that Rock River Disposal will resume yard waste pickup for city residents on April 1.

Technically, I'm a Rockford township girl, so I'm hoping this date applies to me as well or I may just lose my dang mind.

Good thing it should be in the 60's this weekend so we can get out workin' on the mess. I better go stock up on yard waste bags now.
