Hold on to your buritos, Chipotle is closing all of it's stores....for one day.

CNN is reporting that Chipotle will shut down all of its stores nationwide for a few hours on February 8th in the name of food safety.

The restaurant chain will hold a national staff meeting with company's 1,900+ restaurants to discuss food safety. The meeting will also allow the company to thank employees, discuss changes and answer questions.

You'll recall that Chipotle was in the news as a result of several outbreaks of E. coli, Salmonella and norovirus that infected customers. this led to much criticism on social media and in the tabloids.

CNN reports that at the height of its popularity, Chipotle's stock topped $750 a share, it has since dropped to as $428 a share -- a 42% drop.
