Chicago’s Navy Pier To Get Its First Ever Hotel

Big things are happening at Chicago's Navy Pier.

Plans are are going forward to build its first ever hotel.

Cool!

Another option to stay an have a fun weekend out in the heart of the city.

WGN shares that groundbreaking for Navy Pier's first ever hotel is happening today.

The plan is to build a "seven-story hotel at the eastern end of the pier [that] will feature floor-to-ceiling windows to show off Lake Michigan." It will also have "space for a 30,000-square-foot rooftop bar."

Right now the targeted date for it to be open is next summer.

Wow! That sounds pretty awesome.
