This is going to be your last chance to see the Chicago home that was used as a front for a popular 90's sitcom. The house, with city approval, is scheduled to be razed.

The 90's were a great time for sitcoms. We had Friends, Fresh Prince of Bell air, Step by Step, Home Improvement, but one that stands out and we can never forget was Family Matters and the ever lovable yet annoying character Steve Urkel.

DNAInfo Chicago reports that the Lincoln Park home at "1516 W. Wrightwood Ave., which served as the Winslow family home in the '90s sitcom "Family Matters" was approved by the city to be razed.

The lot will then be transformed into a three unit residence. Coldwell Banker's, Lissa Weinstein said that "Prior to purchasing the property, they evaluated whether saving the house was a possibility and ultimately determined renovating the home wasn't a viable option... In honoring the site's past, they plan to decorate the entry with framed photographs of the original house and the show's beloved cast."

If you can't make it into Chicago in time. Here's a look at the outside of the home as it is now.

And now for  nostalgia sake,  here's how we all remember the home to look like in the opening credits. Plus, you now may have an ear worm for the rest of the day. Just an added bonus. You're welcome.
