Chicago Blackhawks’ Duncan Keith Is Coming to Rockford

Mark your calendars now for Thursday, June 29, 2017 because Chicago Blackhawks' Duncan Keith will be in Rockford to honor this area's most outstanding student athletes, and you're invited to the party too.

The All Star Preps Best of Rock River Valley 2017 banquet is taking place at the BMO Harris Bank Center on June 29, and it will honor 2016-2017's All-Star athletes from Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, Lee, Carroll, Jo Daviess and Stephenson counties.

Duncan Keith has been chosen as this year's special guest, and he'll be speaking about experiences and lessons learned during his award-winning sports career. Keith will also be answering questions from fans in attendance, so you better get to thinking about your million dollar question.

Here's what you need to know if you want to go:

• Doors will open at 6 p.m. at the BMO Harris Bank Center on June 29, the event starts at 6:30 p.m.
• General admission tickets are $50 and include dinner, awards ceremony and presentation by Duncan Keith. 
• The event is presented by the Rockford Register Star and sponsored by Mercyhealth. You can buy tickets in advance here.
