Lip Sync Battle's favorite power couple, Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum, are teaming up to bring yet another reality competition show to television — and unsurprisingly, the focus will be on dance.

It's a move that makes sense for the married couple, who first met while filming the dance-heavy movie Step Up. Dewan-Tatum began her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, making her exceptionally well suited for the role of mentor and judge on the forthcoming series.

Channing, meanwhile, will only appear on the show occasionally as he's currently wrapped up in other projects -- including a Men in Black/21 Jump Street crossover, where Channing and his co-star Jonah Hill will take a step away from the undercover drug world and battle aliens instead -- according to a report from Vanity Fair.

Channing will also serve as an executive producer on the show, which already has a six-episode order from NBC, Deadline reports. The program, which has yet to announce a release date, promises to deliver “a fresh take on the dance competition genre.”

The show’s creation likely stemmed from Channing and Jenna’s instantly-viral stints on Lip Sync Battle. Jenna delivered a sizzling take on Ginuwine’s already sultry “Pony,” but was ultimately upstaged by Channing’s performance of “Run the World (Girls)” — though, to be fair, he did get a significant boost from Queen Bey herself.

Is there room in your heart/DVR for another dance competition show?
