Coming out in Illinois is caramel apple flavored beer.

Have you ever sat down and watched one of those fancy cooking shows? They fascinate me. They take different combinations of food that don't seem to fit together and make delicious dishes. Honestly, I look at their ingredients and think to myself, there's no way that will work. Somehow, they make it happen. I wish I had skills like that.

It goes beyond food. The professionals can do it with beverages too, especially beer. Same thing, how can they make that kind of beer but it works.

I think we're lucky because there are so many great restaurants and breweries near us. You don't have to travel far to enjoy some tasty food and beverages. Of course, each season has its own special flavors. It's currently fall, so we get things like pumpkin, apple, October Fest, and many more.

In the fall, I'm a big fan of caramel apples. You can't mess with perfection. Well, maybe it can be incorporate with another good thing like beer. I'm talking caramel apple flavored beer. Don't laugh, because it's here.

According to fox32chicago.com,

"The man in charge of Affy Tapples got his first taste Friday of their new Affy Tapple Beer. The iconic Chicago brand teamed up with a fast-growing suburban craft brewery to produce the first-ever caramel apple beer. It is caramel apple season and Affy Tapple is cranking out hundreds of thousands per day at its Niles factory, while in northwest suburban Lake Zurich, Phase Three Brewing is cranking out the beer."

I have a feeling that it's very good.

By the way, I didn't know that Affy Tapple was located in Chicago. How cool is that?

Would you be willing to try it?
