
Illinois Still Waiting as Buc-ee’s Expands Across the Midwest
At the end of September, Oak Creek, Wisconsin, approved plans for a 73,000-square-foot travel center to be built, making it the first-ever Buc-ee's in the state of Wisconsin. This was on the heels of a lawsuit that was thrown out of court in Milwaukee, attempting to halt the entire process.
Buc-ee’s Expands Its Midwest Footprint
Now that the dust appears to have officially settled on the issues surrounding Buc-ee's and Wisconsin, the behemoth gas station is now looking at other Midwest states to set up shop.

Could Buc-ee’s Be Coming to Illinois Next?
What are the chances it's Illinois? Not so good, at the moment, I guess. Mashed reports that Buc-ee's is considering Indiana, a neighbor to the east of Illinois, as its next location. This one would be in Johnson County, south of Indianapolis, and the foodie website believes "it may be closely followed up by a second one."

Indiana’s Buc-ee’s Plans Leave Illinois Wanting
This second location in Indiana is not far from the original proposed location and would qualify it as the "closest built Buc-ee's outposts in any state outside of Texas."
Illinois Still Waiting Its Turn for a Buc-ee’s
I'm not sure the significance of having two Buc-ee's locations so close together when we are Illinois would like one. I mean, if it's all the same to you in Indiana, why don't you guys just have your one and we'll take the other? Deal?
