Cool News for Illinois as a Classic Treat Drops to Just 85 Cents
If the free ice cream cone from last week wasn't enough to get you going, maybe this will.
We talked about this very thing last week on the air, discussing what it would take to get you out of your way for something free.

The thought was that a free ice cream wouldn't do it, but maybe a Blizzard?
The folks at Diary Queen must have been listening because they're rolling out .85-cent Blizzards starting this week.

Why .85 cents? Dairy Queen is celebrating its 85th anniversary. It's synergy, and it's delicious.
It's just another thing Dairy Queen is doing as we roll through Spring.
To celebrate, Dairy Queen is also introducing two new summer Blizzard flavors: the Mixing Bowl Mashup and Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake.
The Mixing Bowl Mashup includes brownie batter and chocolate chip cookie dough swirled with DQ's soft serve ice cream.
The Dipped Strawberry Cheesecake has cheesecake pieces, "choco chunks," and is topped with strawberry.
Both sound amazing; I'd have a tough time making the decision on which one to try first.
Those also join returning faves, Cotton Candy, Confetti Cake, and S'mores flavored Blizzards.
If that free cone last week didn't get you moving, maybe a .85-cent Blizzard will.
With the new flavors and returning favorites, DQ is doing everything they can to make sure spring time tastes extra sweet.
