Blake Shelton Will Host SNL

On one of the coldest days of the year, the Stateline has something to celebrate. It was just announced that Blake Shelton will host AND be the musical guest for Saturday Night Live this January. Here's more.
According to SNL on Twitter, Blake Shelton will be the host and music guest January 24, 2015. "And even more great news! @BlakeShelton will make his #SNL debut as host and musical guest January 24! #BlakeOnSNL".

It's been a long time coming to have a Country Star on Saturday Night Live Host and be the Musical guest. The last time double duties were handled by a Country celebrity was Garth Brooks in the 90's.
