This new bar, opening north of Rockford, might be worth the trip. They're doing something a little different than places around the state line.

The new bar, called Inked Sports Bar, will have the usual professional sports on over a dozen TV's throughout the bar, including a massive projection screen. The bar will be decorated by the owner of Dr. Dunlap’s Ink Therapy #2, Marcus Dunlap, and will have a Beloit themed atmosphere. According to Beloit Daily News, food will include appetizers, burgers, wings, and more.

How will Inked Sports Bar differ from other bars around southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois? It's all about the beer pour. Typically, beers are poured into a glass from the top, right? Not at Inked Sports Bar - beer will be filled from the bottom UP. Here's what BDN said,

Bottom’s Up uses a magnet to seal the bottom of each glass, while being filled from the bottom. Each holder includes various business logos and discounts for future offers. The system is not currently used in any bar in Wisconsin or northern Illinois, Perleberg said.

Inked Sports bar will open April 8th at 443 E. Grand Ave. in downtown Beloit.
