A serious child sexual offender is about to be released to live in the city of Beloit and the police department is against it.

I couldn't agree more.

I'm on the side of the police department with this one.

Now before you jump down my throat about giving others a second chance let me fill you in on this man.

According to WIFR"57-year-old Kenneth Cairns has been a part of the state of Wisconsin's Sexually Violent Person's Program since the early 2000s after assaulting boys between the ages of 9 and 13 in the 70's, 80's, and 90's."

Ugh! That just makes me sick.

Yeah this guy is a real winner.

Knowing that isn't the worst of this.

If the plans go through Mr. Cairns could possibly be living next door to a 9 year boy. on the 2200 block of Euclid Avenue in Beloit.

Plus, to make matters worse, his living next to a child is all because "a loophole (in the system) [allows] him to not be labeled as a serious child sex offender."

Now, do you see why I don't like this and side with the Beloit police on this?

Yuck! There's no freakin' way I would have this man in my neighborhood living next door to children. Nope, Nope, NOPE!

Currently, the Beloit police "are asking a judge to reconsider Cairns' placement in Beloit."

I honestly, don't think this is wrong of them. If I were a Beloit resident I would implore the courts and judicial system to move this man to an area where there were no children present. Regardless if he is under supervision. He needs not to be living near children.
