Even though the United States' COVID-19 vaccine rollout is in full swing, I think it's safe to say a lot of people are still hesitant to travel far from home. The majority of my immediate family has received both doses of the COVID vaccine, but we still cancelled the Disney cruise we were supposed to go on soon.

Erroring on the side of caution may still be wise in this pandemic, but that doesn't mean we aren't all itching to get away. Perhaps this new offer from one Bahama resort will entice you to finally give in to your need-to-travel cravings?

According to WGN-TV;

 A resort in the Bahamas hopes to lure travel-wary U.S. residents by being the “first and only resort” to allow visitors who test positive for COVID-19 the choice between a complimentary vacation extension and a free trip home on a private jet.

Baha Mar Resort in The Bahamas  'Travel With Confidence' Program promises;

should a resort guest test positive during their stay, Baha Mar will facilitate their quarantine with courtesy suite accommodations and a daily resort dining credit of $150 per person per day, for up to 14 days or until the guest receives a negative COVID-19 result.

Should the guest choose to leave The Bahamas earlier, Baha Mar will provide private air travel to the US mainland for the guest and their immediate family, free of charge.

Now, before you start banking on a free Bahamas vacation, it sounds like Baha Mar takes their COVID-19 precautions VERY seriously, and they even offer free, on-site COVID-19 Rapid Antigen testing upon arrival and departure. You legit have to catch the virus while staying there to get a complimentary quarantine stay, and the chances of that happening is hopefully, slim to none.

Are you willing to risk it?
