Average Wedding Gift Price In Illinois Is Almost $200

Well, apparently the average cost of a wedding gift in Illinois is about $100 more than what some consider "customary."

I surveyed coworkers about how much should be spent on a wedding gift for someone that isn't a relative, the average was around $100, which mean's we're cheapskates. The website Tendr confirms we are cheapskates. Tendr (used for secure monetary gift sending and receiving) put together the list of average costs of wedding gifts around the country,

Wisconsin's average wasn't too bad at $110. Illinois' average is $190, the 6th most expensive state in the United States. Wow, didn't think it would be that high. Or maybe I'm cheap. The most expensive is Vermont ($245) and least expensive ($63).
