An Official Rockford Flag Could Be A Thing

On 815 Day yesterday a campaign was launched for this city to create an "official" Rockford flag. Will you join the movement?

A group of Rockford residents, who love our city and the rich tradition and history that goes along with it, were inspired to start a campaign for a Rockford flag after watching a speech about how city flags often go unnoticed due to poor designs.

This video was released yesterday on the Rockford Proud Facebook page explaining why they think a newly designed Rockford flag is so essential...

I'm all about unity and pride for our hometown, but the pessimist in me can't help but think; "don't we have bigger fish to fry?" Shame on me.
