An 89 Year Old Woman from Boone County Is Missing

The Boone County Sheriff's Department, several K9 units, local fire departments and search and rescue teams were combing through the cornfields and streets of Southern Boone County until around midnight last night looking for 89-year-old Frances "Babe" Briggs who went missing yesterday.

As of this morning, Mrs. Briggs is still missing and the search will continue.

Please share this information and pray that she is found safe and warm soon.

Briggs was last seen in the area of Stone Quarry and Bloods Point Roads.

If you feel inclined to join the search efforts please remember that Mrs. Briggs suffers from Alzheimers, she will be likely be confused, but also very panicked by the commotion and voices yelling out her name. Please proceed with a calm and soothing manner.
