Rockford AirFest 2014: Let the Thunder Roll will be June 7 and 8 at the Chicago Rockford International Airport.According to the airport, the event was grounded in 2013 due to a government sequestration. The last AirFest was held in 2012 and drew 130,000 people for the two-day event, generating more than $3 million in the region.

This year's event will feature the U.S. Air Force Thunderbird Demonstration Team, the U.S. Army Golden Knights, static aircraft displays and more.

Admission to Rockford AirFest 2014 will be by the carload. Advance tickets are $20 per vehicle. Admission at the gate the days of the event will be $30.
