Earlier this month, authorities asked for the public's help in finding an 18-year-old who went missing after an argument in a car ended with him getting out and walking away.

In an earlier article, we shared Aiden Beckford's photo, description, and the circumstances leading to his disappearance - which is seemingly odd. According to the post, Aiden went missing after arguing with a family member inside of a vehicle and exiting the vehicle and running away.

On Saturday, September 7, 2019, Aiden Beckford's body was discovered by a search team member's dog outside of Huntley in an unincorporated area of McHenry County near the area he was last seen alive, according to Northwest Herald.

The mother of 18-year-old Aidan Beckford, whose body was discovered Saturday afternoon in a wooded area in Nunda Township, said her son might never have been found if it weren’t for a volunteer and his dog.

An autopsy was scheduled to be performed today by the McHenry County Coroner’s Office.
