A Rockford TV Station Is Changing Frequency

In order to make room for new 5G and other mobile broadband services, one Rockford TV station is changing frequency.

WQRF-TV, Fox 39 will change frequency on March 13, 2020.

If you receive Fox 39 with an antenna, you'll need to rescan your TV in order to keep getting the channel.

Here's a quick how-to rescan your TV in case you may have forgotten.

Fox 39 will not be changing its channel number, and if you already have an antenna, you won't need new equipment to keep the channel.

Just a rescan and you're good to go. If you run into any trouble, call the FCC consumer helpline at 1.888.CALL FCC.
